Jim and Stephanie go out for their 18th wedding anniversary, leaving the kids at home. They soon find themselves teaming up to take on a super-powered arsonist, and Stephanie learns about the rush Jim gets from crimefighting. Meanwhile, JJ and Daphne team up to take their fellow students for money in a poker game at their house, Katie and the Watcher grow closer, and Dr. King has to take steps to protect one of his subjects.
